My home page

My igoogle home page has been a real encouragement to me as of late! I get a daily verse from scripture. Today's verse is Revelation 21:3.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

How cool is that! I just can't imagine dwelling with God. He WILL live with us. It says it right there! It is so great to have hope. I feel so bad for the unsaved. Where is their hope?

Thank You Father for the hope that I have in You and Your Word!

What must I do to be saved?

Romans 3:23 says that "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." That means me and you.

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." The term death there means eternal separation from God. We do not simply cease to exist! The Gift God has offered us is free. It is not by works.

Romans 10:9 says "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is a decision we all need to make.

This salvation is not a religion.
This salvation is a relationship with a very personal God.

It is not saying a prayer and going back to living as a sinner.
It is making Jesus Christ Lord of you life.

It is not a life of ease. It is not about being healthy and wealthy.
It is love, joy, peace, happyness and so much more that only Jesus Christ can offer.

Jesus says in John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me."

Jesus is the only way!

Favorite Scriptures

1. James 1:22- Do not merely listen to the word, and so decieve yourselves. Do what it says.

2. 1 Timothy 4:12- Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.

3. Romans 8:28- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

4. 1 John 2:5b&6- By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
